Is this a very early one with "cake-slice" indicators before the lollipops arrived, like this one described as 1960 in a sales advert?? |

Truck in the thumbnail I think has had the indicators replaced with non-standard parts probably after having the round lolly-pop ones damaged. Also the round lolly-pop indicators were introduced from start of production 1960, however the A pillar mount for the mirror was from 1962. I guess if it a restored example mirrors could also be replaced with later examples the early ones were small round items like the S-type's. In the main picture it appears to have the rectangular combined side-lights/indicators as the inset rectangular side-lights are missing (edit: it also has an extended version of the mirrors with the double mounting point, an option from about 1966 when they were introduced on the KM). -- Last edit: 2018-11-25 16:17:21 |
