This is described as Marseilles, and I'm guessing is the start of the 1952 Rallye des Alpes/Alpine Rally but I can't trace rally numbers. However the Aston is probably #346 VMG 606 [LML/50/5], Godsall, retired after crash - http://astonuts.free.fr/WASHBOARD/HTML/5E.html . Described as "Experimental Prototype DB MkII" by the factory, or the first production car in 1950, after 3 1949 prototypes - Link to "www.finecars.cc" . |
