The back is very like an SS, the front isn't. Due to the post war car shortage lots of funny things happened. Presumably there is no picture without chummy stood there? -- Last edit: 2015-04-24 08:50:29 |

Actually, comparing it with a '36 S.S. Jaguar 2½ Litre Sports Saloon I see no wrong details in the front either. Wing, headlight, shape and size of the vent area in the bonnet side panel, brightwork, door handle... everything seems to match (the nice Ace wheel discs on the car in the link were an optional extra). |
