1958-63 Mercedes-Benz LP (de), maybe more precisely a 1961-63 Mercedes-Benz LPS 328, or some truck made on this basis? |

Un Citroën carrossé par Heuliez ? |

Thinking about it, I came indeed to the conclusion that it could be any Fourgon intégral (sorry, I don't know how to translate it), from Berliet to Saviem, including all possible trucks makers... But your Citroën idea, DidierF, remembered me my book Les Camions Citroën, where one can find these 3 Citroën T55 with an Heuliez body... (Citroën T55 Heuliez 1958. Clic...) "Ours" is not exactly the same, but it looks close. All works made by Heuliez on the T23 / T55 cab-over models are more or less similar... (Citroën T23 Heuliez 1958) Due to the space between the fenders and the headlamps, I'd say that the one of the movie is a T55. But I'm aware that's it's more a guess than an accurate identification, from what I know about Citroën trucks -- Last edit: 2015-04-09 04:49:31 |

Sorry to add more mess, but the grille (the only part of the body that can be original from the manufacturer) of this "fourgon integral" reminds me of a Somua… but take my contribution just as a crazy idea... |

I can't find in my memory a Somua grille looking like that. Do you have any example to show, esagamma? |

I'd also say it's a Citroen U55 with a specialised body, something like this: Link to "nextnet.fr" |
