Yes - this is 56-61 Escort/Squire [100E] range. Escort was poverty version, Squire more upmarket - initially till 57 with wood side trim, then with more chrome instead until dropped in 59, when Escort was upgraded with Squire trim. Same body - without rear side windows and with vertical rear doors instead of horizontal hatch - was used for Thames 5cwt/7cwt [300E] vans. Various different front grilles during sequence for both 100E and 300E. This car looks clear of side chrome so 56-59 Escort on what's visible. |
