Neptune ◊ 2008-05-12 23:50	Suburban 2500 Silverado The fleet of Suburbans were ambushed and were fiercely fired upon, but I distinctly remember one Suburban, abandoned by it’s occupants, was left with the engine running. That particular Suburban was moments later used in a disparate attempt by the main characters to escape.

amcguru ◊ 2011-12-21 00:50	Most of the 2500's with Silverado trim had the 454 as well. Odds are that chassis, the GMT400, was the best Chevy truck ever build. Stpaulcarguy said it best...shame to see them destroyed.

matt trakker ◊ 2014-03-21 00:23	It's likely that a couple of these trucks were 1992-1993 models with 1994 grille shells and other parts added to them so they'd appear brand new to audiences. At least one of them has the 1992-93(?) rear glass in the barn doors with the original outlined "mirror tint" instead of the solid tint that was used in 1994 or later. I do not believe the full 16" wheel covers were used in 1994 anymore either, by then the 2500s had the trim rings and center caps on them.

dhill_cb7 ◊ 2019-05-15 20:35	[GMT410] for these. Factory BLACK tint came in 1995; not 1994. 1992-1994 used chrome tinted windows: https://www.gmt400.com/threads/gmt400-history.766/page-3 - post #28. Filmed in Mexico for this scene. It is possible those wheel-covers lasted longer in that market then they did up here.
