Oh, uh, well… Now you say it, it looks like a rear square plate, yes. 130rapid, the movie was filmed in April 69. |

If "OE", plaque n'ayant jamais existé. Les lettres "O" et "I" n'ont jamais été utilisées dans le système d'immatriculation en vigueur en France de 51 à ces dernières années, elles ressemblaient trop aux chiffres 0 et 1... |

This W114 has a 1968-73 (1968-69, here ) double bumper ___ @jplemoine & DidierF (in English for the non-French contributors of this page): The Circular of March 11, 1950, published in the Journal officiel indicates the following forbidden letters or combinations in "normal series" for 1950: • I, O for the reasons you give, jplemoine; • D allowed only for "Les Domaines" (I don't know how to translate it) and in the CD (Corps Diplomatique) plates; • TT restricted to temporary series plates (Transit temporaire); • W & WW for mechanics and vehicle dealers; • AL, MA and TU dedicated to Algeria, Maroc and Tunisia: in 1950, these country were still managed as a region of France for the first, and as protectorates for the 2 others... Of course, AL, MA and TU were allowed some years after. |
