roymarks ◊ 2008-09-15 03:17	ESSEX TERRAPLANE - This is a 1933 Essex Terraplane 8 by Hudson; I have owned one. The front opening suicide door, the radiator griffin ornament and the concentric circles on the hubcap indicate the make. The hood doors (similar to Chevy, but taller) the large headlight, the fender parking light, the simple insignia in the hubcap (it is an 8) and the small wire wheels (first car with 16 inch wheels standard) indicate this is a Terraplane 8 - the highest horsepower to weight ratio stock car in 1933.
