I don't think we got the Rukus in 2010, I feel it was later than that, maybe 2013, or even 2014? |

@marioman3138 - No, it went on sale here on June 1, 2010: Link to "www.themotorreport.com.au" UPDATE (September 2015): Toyota just announced that they've discontinued the Rukus in Australia Sadly, the Rukus never lived up to Toyota's sales expectations of 150-200 sales per month. Toyota sold just under 4,000 over a 5 year period, see figures below: 2010 1089 2011 1183 2012 823 2013 418 2014 232 2015 174 2016 10 TOTAL 3929 -- Last edit: 2018-07-16 00:53:21 |

Wow, what a dumb name. "Can you describe the Rukus, sir?" In Norwegian it sounds even worse. |

Why? |

Kia Lotze sounds worse in German - change one letter and you have f**** = cunt. Or then there's the Toyota Kluger, which sounds like a mis-staggered (translated from German) version of 'wiser' "Er ist klug...aber ich bin kluger!" Not to mention the Toyota Platz (space, both [parking] spot and space, room) -- Last edit: 2015-08-12 09:54:31 |

Wow, the obviously sold terribly then, I have not seen that many! (and I look at all cars on the road haha). I think there is one that is usually at a local car meet, could be something else though. I'll look this Saturday to see if it is there. |
