Hillman Hunter? or Humber/Singer/Sunbeam equivalent |

a Humber Sceptre, part of the Rootes Arrow range of cars, the Humber has the vinyl roof, the Hillman and Singer variants have their model insignia on the front door beneath the front quarter light vent. The Humber has a small badge on the bottom of the front fender wher the filler is. |

Not a Sceptre as lacks some of the trim detail. Looks like a foreign assembly version of the Hillman Hunter. |

Probably Jamaican location from imdb. See http://www.allpar.com/espanol/paises/venezuala.html - it's in foreign, but "El Hillman se ensambló en Colombia, Perú, Venezuela, Uruguay, Trinidad, Costa Rica, Irlanda, Indonesia, Malasia, Irán, Malta, Tailandia, Sudáfrica, Portugal, y Nueva Zelanda." seems fairly easy to translate, suggesting this is a Trinidad-built car?? |

In 1971 Trinidad was assembling "Hunter, Minx, Vogue" (World Car Catalogue) - no other details. |

Indicator in front wing was unique to Sceptre and it has lots of chrome, and despite detail trim differences from UK and lack of direct references for local Sceptre assembly, I'm going for it now. |
