Yep,a '66 Dart? They also built them in Spain,I also recall seeing them with Swiss,French and Belgian plates on them,too....but this is Munchen....so 99.9% sure it came over with an American G.I.??? |

Very probable, because AFAIK it was not officially sold here. And this episode was filmed years before http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schengen_Agreement , so at times, where it was elaborate and expensive to import cars or other goods from abroad (resp.from other EU-countries), an used private import is unlikely. Btw.: as Switzerland doesn't belong to the EU, imports from there still contain that annoying paperwork (and more annoying payment ) Same with Norway. -- Last edit: 2013-08-24 18:47:51 |
