Whatever that is, it has larger rear window due to absence of rear wraparound windows. I would suggest 1964-67 version.

I'd rather think about CGI. Masses of details doesn't fit.

Such as a front roof lip all along the side, rear wheel wrongly placed, flare on the front fender, air intake is wrong number and misplaced, no fuel filler, the waistline should decline at the front, wrong bumpers... Should I go on?

I see it's unoriginal, but we can say "Volkswagen Bus [Typ 2/ T1]".

This is a VW Bus that was built from scratch in the studio

Here are the proofs of the VW building progress:

That's a lot of work for an anachronism. :)

Quote When Ip Man arrives in Hong Kong in 1949, he is nearly struck by a Volkswagen Type 2 (aka Camper or Minibus). The first Type 2's were not produced until mid-November 1949 and the vehicle was not available for sale until 1950.

In the videos that yanamation posted there's also a replica half-cab bus and a motorbike with the sidecar moved to the left hand side that don't appear in the film. We also see some rickshaws, two replica trams, a railway locomotive and some carriages.

According the information of Hong Kong, the first VW was introduced to Hong Kong in 1957.
Here's a photo of VW Van T1, in 1960s:

And, T2 at the top, in 1970s:
