L or 110 L/LS OR, if wheels weren't some extra option, can be even some special export trim level.

I strongly think a 110 LS as alloy were standard and I have never seen them in Italy on other sedans.

So it had to spend some time at the dealer - these handles have been replaced with the flat ones at the beginning of 1973. The newest and last possible car with them is "model '73" introduced in late 1972.
Mod '73 110 LS had code 719.

Do you mean that the version with four front head lights came only with the newer flat handles ?
About the plate I was uncertain but I though the new handles came much later. You known them much better than me.

The LS 4 headlight front wall was introduced for the 1973 MY, but when 1973 MY sedans were introduced they had new front ends, but still old handles and in such combination they were made for a while. After few months handles were replaced by new of the flat type, but it was still a Model Year 1973's change.

Ah... I was thinking to remember such early 1973 cars, but I realized it much later and this created a lot of confusion in my mind.
Don't you think it is better to consider the new handles version as 1974 cars ?

Sometimes it can be usefull to narrow date a bit - that's true, but in this particular case it was still officially considered as a 1973 MY. The handles were changed at the begining of 1973 (calendar year).
