Disons que la ligne générale de l'arrière évoque plus une Seat Ronda qu'une Ritmo 2...

--1979:presented as Seat Ritmo, identical such body at 1978 Fiat Ritmo(1.2 or 1.4 lt. Seat 124-D or 1.6 lt.Seat 131 gasoline engines or diesel 1.7 lt. Fiat Ritmo D engine),lasted until early months of 1982('cause at end of 1981 Seat had renounced definitively at liaisons with Fiat, for start then a new partnership with VW Group)

--1982:during 1st half of year was presented the Seat Ritmo's replacement, the Ronda(named after a town of Spain that have the more bigger bullfight arena of whole Country);that was one of the early Seats that don't use Fiat origins names, for effect of new partnership of Seat with VW(that has forbidden use of Fiat names on new Seats);as previous series, engines ranging by smaller 1.2 lt.,passing for the 1.4 and 1.6 lt.,plus the 1.7 lt.diesel

--1984:at eve of Summer, the Rondas were subject to powerplants change, especially those gasoline-fueled:in fact, the previous 1.2,1.4. and 1.6 lt.engines of Fiat origins came replaced by brand new"Motor System Porsche"engine series(so-named 'cause were projected by Stuttgart's Make, initially for the Ibiza, the 1st Seat born under VW influence, presented just in 1984),1.2 and 1.5 lt.;those new-engined Rondas(that could be definite as "2a serie",unofficially)were distinguishables outside by a stylized"P"(=Porsche)logo printed on rear fenders' side edges(body and grille unchanged)

--1986:Before that Ronda gone out of production,Seat get by that car an hybrid, taking the best of their models:the result was the 3-box Màlaga, practically an Ibiza with trunk(like that, styled by Giugiaro too),based on the engines and modified floorpan of Ronda;respect the car of derivation, the Màlaga lasted until 1993,when comes on market its replacement for Nineties',the Còrdoba(name no much original,'cause was given into Seventies'also to a US-made Chrysler model)

PS Are sure that Ronda lasted until 1986,'cause on a 1985 world cars annual they were listed for the last time;in fact,on 1988 issue, into Seat range its place was already recovered by Ibizas(so,the car was disappeared thru 1986-1987;in 1987,that car wasn't imported no more in Italy,so believe that production was already ceased;but if updated in engines, the modified coque was, howewer, still the same of 1978 Fiat Ritmo 1a serie,so was obsolete)

PS 2 In Spain don't were sold not the Fiat Ritmo 1a serie and nor 2a serie

PS 3 But if car in photo could be easily confused for a Fiat Ritmo 2a serie, the trick to discover was simple:saw if the roof edge shown back a "ripple",like an in-built small spoiler(theorically was set-up on roof for make better drag coefficient=Cx,but practically don't produce none aerodynamic advantage, viceversa make it worst;Fiat's men called it ironically as"Cx killer"):if shown that,is a Ronda(that retains same roofline of Fiat/Seat Ritmo 1a serie);if that "ripple"don't appears on roof back edge, then was a Ritmo 2a serie

I'm sorry I thought this was a French film. You are right, it is Seat Ronda.

Long left badge had to be introduced in/for 1984 (but still before the System Porsche "P").
