"1987-1988 911 Carrera Clubsport : Harking back to the 1973 Carrera 2.7s, this was a stripped out version of the 3.2, made some 100kg lighter than most by stripping out non-essentials like the rear seats, sound deadening, electric windows, and even the passenger’s sun visor. The engine puts out the same power but revs more freely, and 300rpm higher, thanks to lightweight inlet valves and a reprogrammed ECU. Just 340 examples were made, and only 53 of those were in RHD for the UK market.
