NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Such a rare car here, in Spain. Why it couldn't be a Toyota? |

Not a Rover spoiler - it's some after market thing. Series 1 bumpers and series 2 front spoiler suggest this might be a South African made SD1. |

Or perhaps it's just a series 1 with a series 2 front spoiler added. After all, it's in Spain, not South Africa. |

You are probably right.... It's difficult to tell from the pictures what bits are on this SD1, or if it's left or right hand drive. I can't tell if it's got the series 1 or series 2 tailgate (larger glass in S2). But wheels are series 2. Any better pictures around? |

Can't be Vitesse (introduced October 1982, few months after Series 2 release). Here we have 1976-1980 (Series 1) car. Original Vitesse rear spoiler looks that: And we don't know what engine is under bonnet. I thnik, just [SD1] will be correct sadly. Any year, any type, due to some odd tuning. -- Last edit: 2010-04-04 00:24:04 |

Agree series 1 car from rear window and trim; spoilers and wheels are non-standard modifications. Wing badges (as main) introduced Jan 80 and would show engine size (3500 or 2600). No special features visible for eg SE, V8-S or Vitesse versions. |
