THE JUNKMAN TRIVIA! This car was held up by a crane. The widescreen DVD version doesn't show it, but the original fullscreen version let the viewers see the hook holding up the rear bumper! However, you can see the crane's shadow. |

There are two in-jokes with this car; the driver's name "Hector" is inscribed on the door in the same way that "Billy" is written on the door of Billy's Cadillac in Gone in 60 Seconds (1974). Also, across the back it says "Tragate Mi Polvo" which translates as "Eat My Dust". The 1975 Pontiac Firebird driven by the young couple earlier in this film has "Eat My Dust" in English across the back. |
