it's a 1966 LHD model with "thin" stripe compared with previous 1965 model ...the plate is a temporary xxx WW 75 number.

Very rare to see such a car in France :wow:

It's well-known in Victor FC 101 circles, especially since the magazine article. (Contact me if you want a scan)

Hi Folks,
It has been suggested that my VX4/90 if the car featured. As it apears that the cars in shot were supplied by GM this may well be true. My VX4/90 was built in Luton in the autumn of 1965 and shipped to GM France. The car was not registered to its "first" Paris owner untill 11th June 1966 under the number 6667 RM 75. This car was very rare in France and GM would have welcomed and publicity that they could get.
She is still registered if France and has covered only 55000Kms and has no rust or welding and is a perfect "time warp" Currently for sale as I am returning to the UK for family reasons.
Any further help with the history would be apreciated.

In the 1960s and 1970s GM-France had close ties with Vauxhall-Luton and the General Motors Limited plants in the UK. Vauxhalls were used by GM-France rather than Opels for their own company cars and whilst I don't believe they had 'demonstator' cars (these would be with dealerships) they would have had vehicles to loan.
