Did Thornycroft make the FG as well http://ccmv.aecsouthall.co.uk/p381504504/h3aa1ea50#h3aa1ea50 ? |

Since this is NZ, this maybe a Leyland... |

The UK 1970 onwards Leyland FG normally had round (not the earlier rectangular) side-lights I think, and possibly before the BMC-Leyland marger about 1968? Were these locally assembled? |

Definitely in Aus, but no firm evidence for or against NZ. Aus exports to NZ also possible. |

1960-1966 for rectangular side-lights either Austin or Morris 1965-66 with the commonised Austin/Morris grille. So probability says its more likely an Austin S200 [FG]. |

Confirmed that Aus-build 1960+ was Austin - no Morris; became Leyland just before stopped in 68. Will assume Aus-build for NZ until proved wrong. |

Australian built FG were named Austin 2-45F (2-ton) and 3-45F (3-ton), also had the Australia only extra vents, tropical cooling mod, not seen here. NZ market specification (either UK or AU build) probably differed from Australian version. (UK naming/AU-build for NZ retained until better info is available.) |
