@Oldsmobile1897: I don't know what you mean with 'updated grill', as the Consul, as far as I know, had the same grill during the whole Mk2 production between February 1956 and March 1962. Because of the round badge in the middle of the grill, and the wheel embellishers, this might be a 'de luxe', but I'm far from certain as they could have been choosen as optional extras. If 1959 MY this should have chromed plated headlamp rims and s/s window surrounds. I can't see neither, but then again it's too far away. 1958? |

Oops, I meant to say the rear end since it appears that the back has the new taillights that the Consul received that year. Either way, it too far away to pinpoint exactly what year this particular Consul is from especially since the license plates is not visible which in movies filmed in the UK which is a huge benefit. -- Last edit: 2014-09-05 00:50:19 |
