The only differences between a 1965 and a 1966 is the grill work and the front fenders, the grill cant be seen clearly, if its even there at all. And the definition on the fenders is blurry. -- Last edit: 2007-08-30 15:54:40 |

Firebird, There is more difference between the 65 & 66. Generally the 66 is more "square" Front: As you say, the grill is changed. The turning signals moved from the grill (65) to the bumper (66). Back: The backup lights changed from round to rectangle. And at last, the bumpers (front and back)changed from round ones to square ones. If you search for Plymouth Barracuda on the main page, you will find a few 65's and 66's an see the difference. Specially the way the rear bumper goes over in the rear fender is different. That is why I am sure this is a 66. The 64, by the way is identical to a 65, the 67 was different and lost the typical rear window. -- Last edit: 2007-08-30 16:12:58 |
