antp ◊ 2015-01-26 17:31	I think this movie is a reboot of the franchise, so probably taking place at the same time as the 2nd movie, seeing the style of the cars.
AOLJU ◊ 2015-01-26 18:46	Yes, probably. Hollywood keeps getting more and more confusing. It's like a semi-reboot, as it follows the first movie (maybe) and ignores the other two. Who knows... but I'll see it anyway, because those trailers look great.
CRAFT372 ◊ 2015-04-30 23:07	I freaking love the new worn down and rusted look Interceptor and I also kinda like that it only has one giant gas tank in the back instead of two because you kinda need to keep other stuff in the back of you post apocalyptic survival vehicle like spare tires spare parts dog food and leather jackets and fun fact one of the two big rear gas tanks was actually stolen from the wreck of the replica Interceptor that was crashed in Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior Link to "madmaxmovies.com"

AOLJU ◊ 2015-05-20 17:57	I would rather say four stars. Used by Max at the opening chase, then seen being repaired, then seen several times as part of the bad guys' army. Used quite a lot in the climax of the chase, specially in that crazy "drag race" against the War Rig. So I think it should be 4 since it's used quite a lot and it's an important part of Max's character.

To be honest the rebuilt Interceptor was more like a way different car that should have it's own page on this site if you ask me

A change of wheels, color and accessories does usually not count as separate vehicles if they are the same one in the story (a different case would be when different models are supposed to be a same car, with differences like the year or the type of body (a sedan used as stunt double for a coupe or something like that).

I know we're supposed to believe they are the same car at different times, but in this instance, it seems a stretch.
