Assuming this was shot in Japan it will not be a 'Truck'. Here in NZ this model was the 1500 but maybe in the home market it was a 620? |

It was called "Truck" there: http://www.g-root.jp/buyandsell/nissan/NS00411.html The brochure covers says "Datsun Truck" and the table mentions "Truck" word in the "car's name" field (well this comes to me from the google translator). The 620 type is mentioned in the [code field] (here on IMCDb). |

In Japan the 620 was officially called Datsun Truck, even in advertising. Worldwide it was Datsun model series 620 but was badged and advertised various ways in various countries. Compare to the wikipedia Japan article Datsun Truck. At the beginning of the article it says "(Datsun Truck)". Interestingly, according to the article, Japan used the DATSUN name for the light trucks through at least 1992, long after the rest of the world stopped using it.
