Grille of this Pontiac is 1946 ,not 1947 ( 1947 grille had only 3 thick horizontal bars in it, 1946 grille had six thinner horizontal bars as here). At a first glance , judging from the rear end and because the 4 door Streamliner was not very popular in 1946 ,i'd go for a notchback " A" body Pontiac Torpedo 4 door sedan 1946

Pilou, you're right about the year. It's a 1946 Pontiac, as you said, there are too many horizontal lines for a 1947 grille. I should have look better.

But I still think it's a Streamliner, and not a Torpedo. Correct me if I'm wrong, but on Torpedos, the 3 horizontal lines on each wing of the car were painted the same color of the body. Only Streamliners had them chromed. On this car, they appear to be chromed.

Yes, the three " Speedlines" on the fenders here appear chromed and I agree with you ,it makes it a Pontiac Streamliner series 26 or 28 ,1946.Well spotted !

1946 Pontiac Streamliner. It is impossible to be a Torpedo in the same moment. The foor door Torpedo had a trunk. All Streamliners had 122" inches wheelbase and a slooping back.
