Not a Seddon if it was filmed in 1970. The prototype Pennine VII didn't appear until 1973 and production examples in 1975. The body will also be an Alexander Y rather than an AY because the alloy AY/AYS didn't appear until 1971. It is a Scottish Omnibuses vehicle so will either be an AEC Reliance or a Leyland Leopard, probably the former because in 1970 SOL had lots of Reliances and only a few Leopards. There were also Bristol RELHs in the fleet with this type of body but they had a different grille. The location is Marygate in Berwick-upon-Tweed. |
