dsl ◊ 2021-09-06 23:10	This is the 2014 Mille Miglia, car 359 listed as John and Rutger Houtkamp, 1955 Jaguar XK 140 OTS Works. RHD, currently on Dutch plates and here though previously had French plates 1157BF59 (photo 10 in the sequence). It is either the actual car #245 which finished 40th in 1956 event and won its class (Georges Guyot) or a lookalike. The French plates lead to chassis S800035, which explains the works reference as originally registered RRW 460 and factory-prepared with 2 other XK 140s for the 1955 Rallye des Alpes which was cancelled following the Le Mans tragedy.
