The badge says AEC, and it's an AEC Reliance with Plaxton Supreme coach work. -- Last edit: 2014-06-11 21:30:23 |

EBM 459T, a Plaxton Supreme IV bodied AEC Reliance 6U3ZT (chassis 38435, body 7912AC032) new to Derek Randall European Enterprises in May 1979 as part of batch of sixteen fifty-seven seater coaches mainly used on shuttle work to the South of France, Spain and Italy. One of the last to be manufactured at Southall - production ceased shortly after the coach was first registered. After disposal in March 1982, the coach passed to Central, Ripponden, and later Williams Coaches, Bradford. As I recall, Randall ceased trading shortly after this batch was sold. Now superbly restored in its original 'European Express' livery and available for hire from Knights Out, Hemel Hempstead. This coach has also made an appearance on BBC police comedy-drama series 'Babylon'. -- Last edit: 2014-06-11 21:58:32 |
