Butch ◊ 2014-06-12 05:25	This is an '86 or '87 944, probably Turbo model. If you look closely during the show,you can see the HMSL at the top of the rear hatch glass. Show is set in 1983.

Volhv ◊ 2014-07-25 07:49	It's an 86 Naturally Aspirated. The turbo has a different front bumper. The rims are "early offset", and were only used up to 1986. As noted by Butch the HMSL was first introduced in 1986.

SimonSays ◊ 2017-01-12 17:59	Commenting to confirm that Volhv is right on the money. This car is mislabeled as it's not a 951 Turbo, but rather a base model 2.5L 944 from '86 (as noted by the the combo of the rubber front bumper, phone dial rims, and HMSL).
