Appears to say D103 or something of the sort near the front side on Thumbnail 3, but I can't find any model type or anything like it.

Well it's Tata 1210 LPT, oldest model as per grill and overall front show is considered !

Can't be LPT. LPT is truck. Bus is LP (normal) or LPO (with >30% overhang).

"LP- full forward control bus
LPO- full forward control bus with overhang (>30%)
LPT- full forward control truck
LPTA- full forward control Truck with all wheel drive
LPK- full forward control Tripper
LPS- full forward control Tractor Trailer

SFC- Semi forward control truck
SK- Semi forward control tripper
SD- Semi forward control truck for desert application
SA- Semi forward control truck all wheel drive

In automobiles controls are A,B,C(Accelerator, Brake, Clutch)

Now,
Full forward Control : All 3 controls are present in the front of the engine.
Semi forward control : All 3 controls are present in the Side of the engine.
Conventional control : All 3 controls are present behind of the engine.

other than this you must have seen like SFC 407 (first two digit(04 here) of this numeric no. is gross vehicle weight i.e. 4 tonne and and other two digits(07 here) are multiplied by 10 to get Engine HP i.e. 70HP.)

So SFC 407 means semi forward control truck having 4 tonne gross vehicle weight and 70 HP engine."
