I wasn't going to give this a page, but it kept reappearing...

Plate in 2nd thumb is something like UWE 67G or 167G, although those were not issued.

I think that this is a Leyland Atlantean/Weymann, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

This is a ECW body. Leyland Atlantean usually use "BET" style
windscreen while Fleetline usually use flat windscreen. I
suggest it is a ECW bodied Daimler Fleetline...

My - very limited - grasp of Scottish bus liveries is that blue-and-white schemes were used by Ayrshire companies to the south-west of Glasgow eg Ayr itself, Kilmarnock, Troon. UWS plate would be Edinburgh issue but buses can move, and for all I know there may have been Edinburgh based blue-and-whites.

What puzzles me is the Ribble type route display.

Livery very much like A1 Service of Ardrossan - http://www.thebusgallery.co.uk/a1 . No obvious bus match in that set although some Ribbleish displays on other things eg http://www.thebusgallery.co.uk/a1/h1edd0f01#h1edd0f01

An ECW bodied Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX of W. Alexander & Sons (Midland), new in September 1970. Most likely to be UMS 87W (MRF87).

 Almost certainly UMS 87J, which would have been allocated to Milngavie depot at the time of filming.
