More info; [1052] was one of the 5 swb chassis in the original run of 7 cars (there were 3 later builds from left-over parts after Squire went bust in June 36), and was one of the two Markham body cars. The JB 8776 plate also appeared briefly on the Vanden Plas bodied swb [X101] which was the first prototype and then the factory demonstrator, but was quickly re-registered as DMP 219. |
