1997-2005 Chevrolet Venture or 1997-2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette; the style of the rear bumper rules out Pontiac Trans Sport/Montana. |

Other angles in episode and the related Chicago Fire episode showed it to be a '95 to '97 Ford Windstar. -- Last edit: 2014-05-03 04:17:06 |

This one? /vehicle_701814.html I stand by my original assessment. Windstar: Link to "www.curbsideclassic.com" Venture: http://tenwheel.com/imgs/a/b/t/w/u/1999_chevy_venture_2_lgw.jpg Note how the taillight cutouts in the tailgate extend to the level of the bottom of the rear glass - Venture (Windstar taillights are smaller). Note the location of the crease low on the rear bumper - Venture (it's higher on the Windstar). The crease on the tailgate is even with the rear bumper cutline and the middle of the license plate - Venture (top of the license plate on Windstar). The view in "Fire" shows the sliding door track extending all the way to the taillight - Venture (Windstar's track stopped before the taillight). And the view in "Fire" shows black rub strip on the bumper - Venture (and helpfully rules out Silhouette). I haven't seen either show; possibly they used a Windstar in earlier shots and substituted a Venture stunt double for the explosion, but this hulk is definitely a Venture. |
