Emeregency Services arrived at the scene and once the flames where extinguished, it was noted that there had in fact fortunately not been anyone inside the vehicle at the time. What could be seen from the outside was the seat of the vehicle that was pulled forward, looking like a human figure. The single cab Ford Ranger bakkie was completely burnt out. The reason that the vehicle was standing abandoned on the side of the road almost in the bushes is not clear, and there is no evidence from appearance that the vehicle was involved in an accident. The Honeydew SAP were at the scene and would complete their necessary investigations into the incident.
