Right. The capacity 2107 cc. doesn't match with 2077 cc. late in-line six BMW version or 2216 cc. Bristol 405 engine (BMW derivative). |

For the sake of good order - talking of a favourite marque - both the bore and stroke of the Bristol engine were enlarged to make 2216cc. The first model to receive the 2.2 litre engine was the 406 from 1958-61 (some 174 cars) though I'm not clear if the 6 Zagato-bodied short chassis cars were included in or additional to that production figure. |
