yes, those little rear lights I would suggest 1953 as first year possible. Also the film year is 1955 and the car seems an used one. |

The roundel on the fender is simply an F plate. IIRC way back when the French seemed to have a horror of white oval international plates, this type was quite common, as was a simple F bolted straight to the bodywork. |
