I do not really see why you put the best picture of the two in thumbnails... why not use that one as main picture, as the other one does not add anything? (the car is less visible)

I was trying not to duplicate the pics.! (some contributions show the same scene over and over again.!)

I believe all post-1971 models both 6-cylinder and V8 models had the two raised areas on the bonnet. According to Austin-Rover.co.uk the only way to identify the V8 engined cars (other than badging) was by the large air-intake below the bumper.

A 1974 Rover [P6] 2200 with the humps on the bonnet.

Yes but it is not a reason to take a pic where the car is hidden :D And as I would have not listed the Audi... :whistle: When there are lots of background cars in a scene, I usually only list the most visible / most interesting, rather than list each of them ;)

P plate issued Sept 75. 3500 [P6b] with hint of lower vent and most 2000/2200 had under-riders below the bumper on either side of number plate.
