It's a 1923 Essex 4 that I bought out of a barn in San Jose, CA many years ago. It was originally a touring, but when I got it, the body was gone. I sold it to the current owner with plans and photos to build a period correct speedster based on the one built for a Hudson executive in 1919. The new owner found the later boat-tail body and decided to use it, rather than a more correct body -- he calls it a 1919, but it's a 1923 with 1919 fenders and a 1929 boat tail... |
