awful NYPD mock-up. The NYPD never used those style lights, and the only ones they used that resembled them were the double-"cherry" style Signal Stat. They also weren't equipped with all-red lights since the mid 60's, the wheels have full covers instead of poverty caps, and a 1971 model car would have the green/black/white paint scheme. |

Yes, up until 1973, NYPD police cars would've been green and black with white, but I think when the NYPD had started to introduced the NYPD police cars with the new blue and white paint scheme, I think they would've respray the police cars from 1970-1972. |

Well, a 1971 car could have been resprayed into the newer scheme, as seen with a few of the 1995-1996 Caprices, which were painted in white around 1998-1999 (around 4-5 years of age) |
