I do not find lots of pics that could confirm that it is a Spectrum. I want to believe you, but as said IMCDb on Google we can find pics of Chevettes that look quite similar to this one... |

Notre ami Kowalski a raison, il s'agit d'une Spectrum. La Chevette possède des butoirs de pare-choc et un jonc chromé autour de l'ensemble phare-calandre. Elle fut disponible de 1985 à 1988 avant de devenir Geo en 89. La Spectrum est une Isuzu, seulement importée pour l'est des USA. |

winger said that you were right, it is a spectrum. Chevette has things (do not know the english word for it  ) on the front bumper and a chrome thing around lights & radiator grill. It was available from 85 to 88 before becoming Geo in 89. The Spectrum is an Isuzu, imported only for east-USA.IMCDb asked if it is an Isuzu Spectrum labelled Chevrolet like all Daewoo are now. |

Initially, because of the voluntary Japanese import restrictions, the Spectrum was limited to 16 states on the east coast, while the Sprint was limited to 9 states on the west coast. By the fall of 1985, the restrictions changed and Chevy was able to start selling both to all states.
