This is a traditional flat-hood model not the high-hood of the CJ3B style. The windshield style with rounded corners and 3 pressed lower panels is of the CJ3A & M38 period. The M38 had a fixed center panel, hinged grille and aux cowl box for the second battery (24v system) and this pic shows none of these feature. The civilian CJ3A had chrome headlight trim rings, civy marker lights, no cowl box and the center panel of the windshield opens. Based on this I would suspect this is a Willys CJ3A. Possibly a Mitsubishi but still based on the CJ3A. |
