The vehicle used to tear the Lada Riva clean in half... |

Doesn't this picture make Clarkson look even taller (he's already 6'5"), an interesting use of perspective. |

Yes, I deliberately took the shot at this point to demonstrate this |

It makes him look like a giant, those wheels must be at least 6 feet high up close. I remember diminutive Richard Hammond complaining in an FHM interview about the height difference between them, "I'm normal! Five foot seven and a bit. It's Clarkson who's the freak, he's 18 feet tall for Christ's sake! I try and stand nearer the camera than him to compensate but he's cottoned on to this and has started standing in front of me, making me appear microscopic." The magazine then asked "Ever been tempted to smash bully Clarkson in his big, stupid face?", to which he replied he couldn't reach. |

I remember reading up on that, and he does have a point. As you will see in the next release, he had to have a custom fit GT40 just so he could fit inside, as he was unable to beforehand |

I think there's quite a few cars he doesn't fit into easily and partly because of his girth as well as his height. Let's be honest, he's a bit of a portly bugger! -- Last edit: 2006-11-24 00:13:51 |
