I am not sure if it is possible to keep the Wyvern (4 cylinder) and Velox (6 cylinder) apart with just these images. But as more Velox were produced we should keep this.

It┤s a 1950 model, it has got turn signals instead of semaphores. And the rear numberplate is on the boot lid.

There are no exterior differences between Wyvern/Velox according to my Vauxhall bible, except for badges. The interior though is more luxurious on the Velox. But that can┤t be seen here.

To take up DAF 555's observation, there was not as far as I am aware any difference in the internal equipment between the L-type Velox and Wyvern - a heater, for instance, would have been optional on both cars, and semaphore indicators were fitted to both models throughout the entire 1948-51 production run. As DAF says, there were differences in badging, but the Velox could also be instantly identified by its flat, 'Vauxhall'-lettered hubcaps instead of the plain, domed ones on the Wyvern, and cream instead of body-coloured wheels.
