Humber Hawk Series IV? |

It is either Oct 64 Hawk S4 as ^ or Super Snipe S5 for the revised cabin and single side strip. But rear badging looks older Super Snipe emblem and the script badge does not match the flat Oct 64+ style which was placed horizontally. Also bumpers look older - more ornate over-riders without rubber insets. Hawk - http://www.simoncars.co.uk/humber/hawk.html , Super Snipe - http://www.simoncars.co.uk/humber/snipe.html So slight confusion - I won't argue with Hawk but lean more to Super Snipe. The trim detail differences from UK make me wonder again if there was Aus assembly of these big Humbers - we have enough Aus examples to make it plausible - but I've never found a reference. |

Confirmed - big Humbers were built in Aus through 50s and 60s - Link to "web.archive.org" . S5 Super Snipe arrived early 65. |
