"X" registration on these old Louisiana Pass.Car plates would indicate you got your plates mailed to you....but they're faked,of course? Format is '123X456',plus the 'Sportsman's Paradise' version I think came out 1977-78?? (A '72 car would usually bear the 'Bayou State' 1974-76/77 series (Stamped 74-75,decal renewal 76-late 80's)unless it came in from out of state later?)BTW: The letter in the middle indicated the L.S.P. district it was issued from,(And gotten from your Parishes('Counties' in Louisiana....)Tax office)like "A" for Baton Rouge,"B" for New Orleans,"G" for Shreveport,etc? |
