Let me ask the Filipinos on here...what was so special about Beetles that made them last so long? Whenever I look for classic cars on Philippines websites, Lancers and Beetles are the most common. I also heard that there are Volkswagen clubs in the Philippines. Were they just so popular that they always outnumbered other makes, or were they more durable? For an Asian country, It just seems unusual how many Beetles are still there after all these years. |
