 It's 1973, by tail lights containing the upper part in red colour and in the orange - the lower one.
Instead, the 1972 version had orange upper part and red lower.

It can't be mid-1972, as the book "The Flame of Lofty Thought" written by former Togliatti Car Factory employee states that first trading items of 2103 were built in the end of IV quarter of 1972 and were badged as 2103В (that's cyrillic В for 'temporary'). They featured several internal trim parts from 2101 model, as well as the 'reversed' light scheme of tail lights. The 'normal' tail lights first appeared in January 1973, hence they can be seen in the screenshots. All 2103В cars were sold to the factory employees, so none of them could ever be filmed in movies. Now they're the rarest of 2103 line, though. ;)

Taking into account all said above, the vehicle has to be marked as 1973 year.

On these photos we can see that the car already has full 2103 interior trim, but its ID plate states it's 1972.
Maybe it's one of the first items assembled in January 1973 but featuring 'reversed' lights from 1972 2103В.
