Excalibur ◊ 2007-05-29 21:22	Theese were made between 1997 and 2003. I have a friend who owns a black 2002 one, and it is a very nice car. It's even more comfortable than my 1999 acoord. My friend is from Kaliningrad and he bought the car there, but niether of us know if theese were sold in any other country. Does anybody know?
Gag Halfrunt ◊ 2007-05-29 22:04	I've seen a few recent (1990s or newer) Volgas in news footage from Iraq, I think they're used as taxis. But I don't think they're sold in many countries outside the former USSR. Is your friend's Volga registered in Sweden? I wouldn't have thought that it would meet Swedish emissions standards.
Excalibur ◊ 2007-05-30 08:22	It's registerd in Kaliningrad, where he lived at the time he bought it. He is planning to move back as soon as he has finished his studies, and is gonna bring the Volga with him. But as you said, I'm not sure the car would meet the emission standards. Sweden seems to have a lot against russian cars (although, you can see some Ladas from time to time ).
