This was one of the first very successful imports and considered the "surprise of 1962" for the fact that was the booming year, due to the fact that since that January import fees were deeply lowered. It was obviously available since late 1959 but its succes came later for the above motivation. An uncle of mine was one of the many 1962 Anglia buyer, and its one was a white De Luxe (the standard was not imported) with a very nice light blue interior. |
