Cresta? |

Not a Victor 101 [FC] but Vauxhall Cresta/Velox [PB]. The Cresta/Velox had flat side windows not curved glass as on the Victor 101, also the [PB] had the concave form running the length of the sides at the belt-line as here. The Victor 101 [FC] is more 'barrel-sided' in shape. The Victor [FB] was similar in shape but the 'C' pillar is slimmer, as here, on the Cresta. -- Last edit: 2006-11-21 20:49:20 |

datsunZ, what is your information source for saying the PA Cresta was only available from 1964? Although I cannot find any 1962 PA Crestas I have found at least three for sale manufactured in 1963, one of which was registered in January 1963. I would therefore assume they were available certainly in late 1962. |

This is a Vauxhall PB-Series. Produced from Oct.62 to Okt.65 (Model-years 1963 to 1965). The two-tone-pint shows, that this is a Cresta, not a Velox. PA-Series were produced from Oct.57 to Oct.62. |
