Can anyone read or explain the badging? Top is clearly Jaguar, but 2nd line is problem. RHD car so presumably UK and genuine PYR came with R suffix in Dec 76 (though no trace on check sites) - no headrests so 76 date looks about right. If badge reads Van den Plas (though does not look like it) that goes only with Daimler in UK - a US or CDN Jag VDP would be LHD. Any ideas? |

Bottom badging is probably "Fuel Injection" (XJ12 had a Fuel injected V12 as soon as 1975 and XJ6 had to wait until 1978) http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/7361/jaguarxj12k.jpg |
